Manika began playing Table Tennis at a tender age of 4 years having got inspired from her elder sister who also used to play the game. She won the under-8 state tournament after which she started coaching under Mr Sandeep Gupta, who has been her mentor coach and the backbone of her game since then. Manika currently stands as India’s No.1 paddler and is ranked 58 in the World. She currently plays for the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB).
